Registers: Overview and Functions
This article walks you through how the Registers page works and what you will find in each register.
Registers is where every record from your site is kept on web. Sign-ins, inductions, cards, permits, forms, company documents and evacuations each have their own register, so you can check who is on site right now or pull up a record from last month without reaching for your phone.
Before you start
You need Site Host permissions for the site you want to view. You will only see sites you have been given access to. If Registers does not appear in your menu, ask your company admin to check your permissions.
Open your site registers
- Log in to Breadcrumb on web.
- Open your site from the Sites list.
- Select Registers in the left-hand menu.
- Choose the register you want to view.
Everything you see here is for the site you have open. Company admins can see the same registers across all sites from the company-level menu.
How every register works
All registers share the same layout. Once you know your way around one, you know them all.
- Search. Use the search bar to find a worker, company or record by name.
- Filters. Narrow the list by date, company, status and other details that suit that register. You can combine filters to get to exactly what you need. If a list looks empty, clear your filters and start again.
- Open a record. Select any row to open the full record with all its details.
- Download as PDF. From an open record, download a PDF copy to save, print or share.
What each register shows
Attendance
A live and historical view of everyone who has signed in to your site. The On site count at the top shows how many people are on site right now, and it updates as workers sign in and out.
Each row shows the worker's name, company, visitor type, sign in time, sign out time and time on site. If a worker is still on site, their sign out time shows as a dash. A very long duration usually means someone forgot to sign out, so it is worth a quick follow-up.
Filter by date, company or visitor type to review a single day, a single subcontractor or a longer stretch of time.
Inductions
Every induction submitted for your site. Open a record to see the worker's answers and details, and check its status. Download a PDF copy when you need it for your records.
Companies
The subcontractors working on your site. Each row shows the company name, primary contact and status. You can remove a company from your site here. Removing it from the site does not delete it from your company's list, so it can still work on your other sites.
Cards
The cards and competencies workers have added to their profile, such as licences, tickets and the White Card. Use it to check a worker holds the right competencies before they start a task, and open any card to see its details.
Permits
All permits raised on your site, including higher-risk work like hot works or working at heights. Use it to check each permit's status, who it belongs to and how long it runs. Open a permit to review the full record or download it as a PDF.
Form Submissions
Every form submitted on your site. Filter to find the one you need, open it to see what was submitted, and download a PDF copy.
Company Docs
The documents your subcontractors have submitted for your site, such as insurances, licences and safety documents. Use it to check what has been submitted and where each document is up to.
Evacuations
Every evacuation drill and emergency evacuation run on your site. Open a record to see everyone who should have been at the muster point, grouped by company, with anyone unaccounted for highlighted.
Download a record as a PDF, or download the muster list as a CSV file. Evacuations are still started, and people are still marked present, in the Breadcrumb mobile app. Your most recent drill date also appears on your site's Overview page, so you can keep on top of your drill schedule.
Good to know
- Records are downloaded one at a time. Open the record you need and download it from there.
- Looking for a person rather than a record? Use the People tab on your site to find and contact workers.
- Using Procore? If your account is connected to Procore, each record includes a link to open the matching item in Procore.
