How do I see which workers are checked-in on my site?
Viewing a live list of everyone currently checked in to the site.
Your site's Attendance register shows everyone currently checked in to your site. It updates as workers check in and out, so you always have an accurate headcount for safety checks, toolbox talks or an emergency.
Before you start
You need Company Host or Site Host access to the site. If you can't see the site or its Attendance tab, contact your Breadcrumb administrator.
See who is on site on web
- Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
- Open your site.
- Click the Attendance tab.
- Turn on the On site filter.
The list now shows only the people who are checked in and haven't checked out yet. The number on the On site filter is your live headcount.
What each record shows
- Name: The worker's name and profile photo.
- Company: The company they're working for on your site.
- Visitor type: For example Subcontractor, Employee or Visitor.
- Check-in time: When they arrived.
- Check-out time: Shows a dash while they're still on site.
- Duration on site: How long they've been on site. For workers still on site, this keeps counting up.
Narrow the list
- Search: Find a worker by name.
- Company: See everyone on site from one subcontractor.
- Visitor type: Show only subcontractors, employees or visitors.
See who is on site in the mobile app
- Open the Breadcrumb app and tap Host in the bottom right.
- Tap the Attendance tile.
- Search or filter to find a worker, and tap their icon to see more detail.
Good to know
- Today by default: The Attendance tab opens on today's records. With On site turned off, you'll see everyone who has checked in today, including people who have already left.
- One row per visit: If a worker leaves and comes back on the same day, they appear once for each visit. The On site count only counts each person once.
- Past dates: Use the date filter to look back at a single day or a date range.
- Procore Daily Log: If your site is connected to Procore, click View Daily Log to open the site's Daily Log in Procore.
Troubleshooting
A worker has left but still shows as on site
They probably didn't check out. Follow up with the worker or their supervisor. Workers with an unusually long duration on site are worth checking.
A worker is on site but isn't in the list
They may not have checked in. Ask them to check in using the site QR code, the Breadcrumb app or the site kiosk.
