How do I report on acknowledged announcements?

Confirming who has read and acknowledged a specific announcement.

When you share an important announcement, such as a change to site rules or a safety alert, you'll want proof that your workers have seen it. The Activity Report shows who has viewed and acknowledged each announcement, and you can export the list as a CSV for your records.

Before you start

  • Access: you'll need Company Host or Site Host permissions. If you can't see Reports, ask your Breadcrumb admin.
  • Web only: this report isn't available in the mobile app. Log in on web to use it.
  • Make sign-off mandatory: to get a record of who has acknowledged an announcement, set its Force View Mode to Mandatory View and Sign Off when you create it. Workers then have to open the announcement and sign off before they can continue.

See who has acknowledged a specific announcement

  1. On web, go to Reports > Activity Report.
  2. Click the Announcements Filter(s) box.
  3. Select the announcement from the dropdown.
  4. Click the + button and select Viewed.
  5. Click Update.

The report now lists everyone who has viewed that announcement. To check more than one announcement at once, repeat steps 2 to 4 for each one before clicking Update.

Export the list

Once your filters are applied, export the report as a CSV to keep a record or share it with your team.

See which announcements one person has acknowledged

If you need to check a particular worker, for example after an incident, you can look at their record instead.

  1. On web, go to Reports > Activity Report.
  2. Find the person and click View Details.
  3. Open the Visited Announcements tab.

This shows every announcement that person has opened.

Someone missing from the report?

  • Were they in the audience? Announcements only go to the people, trades or visitor types you selected when you created it.
  • Have they checked in since it went out? Depending on your display settings, workers see announcements before, during or after they check in. Someone who hasn't checked in since won't have seen it yet.
  • Was sign-off mandatory? If Force View Mode was set to Disable, workers could skip the announcement.
