How do I edit my notifications?
Managing which events trigger a notification for your account.
As a host, Breadcrumb lets you know when things happen on your sites. You can choose how you're notified, whether in Breadcrumb, by email or by push notification on your phone, and fine-tune which events you hear about.
This article shows you how to change your host notification settings on web or in the mobile app.
Before you start
- You need Company Host or Site Host permissions.
- To get email notifications, your profile needs an email address.
- You can only change your own notifications, not anyone else's.
- Your settings apply to all your sites. You can't set different notifications for each site.
Change your notification settings
The steps are the same on web and in the mobile app.
- Select the notification bell in the top right.
- Select the cog icon.
- Switch from the Profile tab to the Host tab. It shows your company name.
- Turn each option on or off:
- Enable: show notifications in the bell dropdown.
- Email: get notifications by email.
- Push Notification: get push notifications on your phone.
Choose which events you're notified about
To fine-tune your notifications, select the Advanced link on the Host tab. From here you can choose which events notify you.
