How do I download the Breadcrumb mobile app?

Finding and installing the Breadcrumb app on iOS or Android.

You use the Breadcrumb app to check in and out of site, complete inductions and sign site documents. It's free to download on iPhone and Android.

Download on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Search for Breadcrumb.
  3. Find the Breadcrumb App by 1Breadcrumb Pty Ltd.
  4. Tap Get to install it.

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for Breadcrumb.
  3. Find the Breadcrumb app by 1Breadcrumb.
  4. Tap Install.

After you install

  1. Open the app and allow notifications and location access when asked. Location lets the app find the site you're on.
  2. Enter your mobile number and tap Confirm.
  3. Enter the verification code sent to you by SMS.
  4. If you're new to Breadcrumb, fill in your profile details.

You're now ready to check in to site.

Good to know

  • Phone requirements: Breadcrumb supports the latest and previous versions of iOS and Android. On iPhone, you need iOS 16 or later. If the app won't install, check for a software update on your phone.
  • Work phone blocking the app? Some company-managed phones block apps from being installed. Ask your IT team, use your personal phone, or use Breadcrumb in your web browser at web.1bc.app.
  • Keep the app up to date: Turn on automatic updates so you always have the latest fixes.
  • No phone on site? Many sites have a kiosk tablet at the entrance you can check in on, or the site team can check you in.
