How do I call a worker on my site?
Initiating a direct call to a worker's registered mobile number from within Breadcrumb.
Need to reach a worker quickly? You can call them straight from the Breadcrumb mobile app using the mobile number they registered with. No need to search through contacts or ask around site.
Before you start
- Access: You need to be a Company Host or Site Host. If you don't have access, contact your Breadcrumb administrator.
- Mobile app only: Calling a worker works in the Breadcrumb mobile app. It isn't available on web.

Use this when the worker isn't on site right now, for example to check if they're coming in tomorrow.
- Open the Breadcrumb app and tap Host in the bottom right.
- Check you're on the right site. Tap Change Site if you need to switch.
- Tap the User Directory tile to see everyone who has been on the site.
- Find the worker and open their profile.

Good to know
- Only workers linked to your site: You can only call workers who are checked in now or have checked in to the site before. If someone has never been on your site, they won't appear in either list.
- Need to reach everyone at once? Send a site alert instead. It sends an SMS or push notification to every worker currently checked in to your site.
