How do I add a profile picture?
Uploading a photo to your Breadcrumb profile.
Your profile picture helps the site team recognise you. It shows next to your name when you're checked in, and some sites use it for site access, such as face-recognition gates or a printed site pass.
Add or change your profile picture
- Open the Breadcrumb app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right corner to open your profile.
- Tap your current photo, or the empty photo space if you don't have one yet.
- Take a new photo with your camera, or choose one from your phone's gallery.
- Tap Save.
Tips for a good photo
- Face the camera: Use a clear, front-on photo of your face, like a passport photo.
- Good light, plain background: Avoid strong shadows or bright light behind you.
- No hats or sunglasses: Take off anything that covers your face, including your hard hat.
- Just you: Make sure no one else is in the photo.
This matters most on sites that use your photo for face-recognition gates. A clear photo means you'll be let through first time.
Photo won't save?
Make sure you're using the latest version of the Breadcrumb app. Update it from the App Store or Google Play, then try again. If it still doesn't work, contact our support team on 1300 127 323.
